Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup
Do you guys know if there is any other way to remove all those useless icons apps NFL, MARKET PLACE, NASCAR...ETC without installing the clean up cab file? I don't want to do hard reset, I have my phone fully customized already. If anyone knows, please let me know.

If you want a program to do it, I think restart by showaco will remove shortcuts from the start menu. Just google 'restart xda' and you should find the thread.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup
the dev had access to a verizon version since his dad had verizon. the dev is on sprint so easily had access to that. a few people early on with telus beta tested ths cab so thats how the dev was able to post for that carrier.. the dev had no access to ATT therefore the cab is not going to work properly for that carriers' handset.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup
These forums are very helpful; I'm relatively new to these forums; Apologies in advance if this isn't the right place to ask a question; perhaps someone can direct me if this has already been answered. I have a Sprint HTC TP2 running WM65 and I've run the clean-up CABS listed in this topic.
I want to add new applications to the Home Screen Tabs area -- like OutLook Calendar & Contacts. How do I add them into the list to select if not available in the list when I goto the Home Screen Tabs menu? Thanks in advance |

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup
sureshot,
if you want to test this you should hard reset your device. if you have any custom roms or any reg entries you may have done, those will most certainly break things inside, so a fresh start is in order. i would not risk it, it may break some things in your device.. nothing you can recover from mind you, but it just may not be worth the trouble, especially if you have customized your handset... |

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup
It's my friend's new phone. It's fresh out of the box. He's not savvy when it comes to this stuff, so I wanted something easy for him to try. I was going to flash a new rom on it when I had the chance anyway, so I figure it might be worth trying.
