Finally was able to get in and remove Clean Up and phone works again. I searched ahead of time, so tee me up if I missed something.

I got a new TP2 the other day as well, also with WM 6.5 on it. I have been hard re-setting and loadin - re loading the 6.5 clean up package all day.......... probably 5 or 6 times. No problems at all from the cleanup package yet, but I'm with sprint.

I can't get rid of the HTC sms Messaging client.............. but thats another story.

I would do another hard reset.

with the phone off, push and hold the send and end buttons, the press and hold the power button. that will take you to the screen that askes if you want to do a reset, press volum up to do so.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

I have seen a couple of others ask about alarms but have not found an answer...please direct me if I have missed an answer post for this. I love everything about this tweaks package, except I can't get the alarms to work. I am running 6.5 on an unlocked verizon tp2. I use it on the att network. The alarm issue is the only thing I am finding that does not work right.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

I like the idea behind this cleanup, but I found the change where it announces my texts out loud really messed with things. It was amusing at first but later when I got a text it would cause everything to slow, especially if using opera 10. Anyway thanks for the package.

What is your alarm issue treefrog? Doesn't make any sound at all? You select an alarm tone? Go to settings - all settings - clocks and alarms. Then go to alarms tabs and tap the bell to try other alarms. I also have heard g-alarm is a good app.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

I have already tried several different alarm sounds, so thats not it. If I have it on, the alarm will go off...but if the backlight is off and the phone inactive, no alarm. It is like the alarm just refuses to "wake up" the phone.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Forgot to add...I also tried spb clock to see if it was just the installed alarm not working. The result was exactly the same.
eta...went ahead and tried g-alarm as you suggested...same result. No alarm unless the phone is awake, won't wake up the phone.

Angry Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Love the clean up cab so far, the only issue i'm having is that the email notification tab on TF always says I have at least one email. This began even before I set up any email accounts. This also causes the status light to constantly blink. WTF, it's driving me nuts!

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Yes, several times in fact. I've also tried another hard reset and re-install to no avail.
