Chances are pretty slim, there is no exact cause to SOD, it has been blamed on the OS, software installed and hardware. there is just no exact fix for it. what I can say is put some more thought into how much junk you keep on your phone, keep you text's and inbox's as lean as possible, and if you install software make sure that your using it on a weekly basis or just uninstall it and keep the cab on your memory card for when you need it.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

I got my phone replaced since it was under warranty for the SOD issue. I ran the stock ROM with no additional software/programs for two days (actually I only had the WIFI router program installed) and i did not experience any freezing, slowing, SOD, nothing.

I installed the Sprint cleanup after I did a hard reset, and I've noticed that I've had to do a soft reset (pulling battery) three times so far. It's been just over a day since I had it installed. Could it be something in the cleanup package that's aggravating the issue?

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

i have a workaround in that i just use the back arrow on the physical button at the bottom to "back out" of the program and it does not lock up my phone...
