Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Okay, after I installed the tweak it's verbalizing (in a computer voice) every event or notification. Sorry to be dense, but how do I disable this?

edit: I disabled Voice Command. That seemed to do it.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

GoodThings2Life- First, thanks for bringing good things to our lives such as your TP2 cleanup.cab.
I have a stock VZB TP2 with nothing else loaded. I then downloaded your VerizonTP2 tweaks cab and loaded it. After soft reset I have noticed that "HTC random access" no longer works in contacts.
I suspect it might be due to the finger friendly scrolling mod. So I used Resco Registry to revert the scroll bar settings to default (13 I believe). However HTC Random Access never came back.

Please PM me. I would like to work to get things like this on the Verizon Tweaks cab cleaned up. I am also looking into an issue where the Slingplayer mobile palette looks like it gets hosed (blue tint). I think I would really be able to help if I can get your source tweaks/cabs and mix and match narrowing out what causes the issues.
I know I can search around and find all the tweaks and put them together, but you have made so much progress I would rather work to assist you on the Verizon.cab.

Thanks -PleaseStirMe

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Go to bluetooth settings, then advanced and then click on Audio (hands free related settings) settings and uncheck the box "Play system sournds on remote hands-free device"
- With this checked, you can play "mono" music in the bluetooth headset.

Then, go to voice command settings and turn of what you don't want.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

GT2L, when you get back from vacation, can you create a Verizon Cab without the nuebattery stuff?
- On Verizon can't get 1% battery stuff to work with this.
- Also now it disabled the percentage display completely even in battery info (not nuebattery - as it crashes the system completely).
- does not work well with battclock which gave me 1% info + clock + free memory in the same space as the battery icon.

Or create a cab that uninstalls the nuebattery completely.

I did a hard reset and then ran the verizon tweak and then put only the essential stuff.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

I have the tp2 on verizon and installed the tweak package and now my alarm doesnt work right. Ramesh would you mind putting your fixes into the tweak cab for 6.5. I really like the original tweaks but would like to have everything working right. Thanks

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Thanks a lot for this it works great on my sprint touch pro 2.

I have one question though for future updates. Is there a way to you edit the cab for the lock file to allow a setting to only ask for a passcode on power up instead of every time you go to unlock the phone. I missing having it that way from when I use to use slide to unlock.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

What is wrong with your Alarms?
Mine is working fine. Once you put the tweak in and if you have bluetooth / headset then it will route all audio to it. See my above posting to change it back.

Cab...hmmm thinking about it.

Cleanup should ONLY be installed after a hard-reset. Tweaks can be done anytime.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

Ramesh i did look and made sure my voice command was off. If it isnt too much trouble a cab file with all your fixes would be nice. I appreciate the response back. thanks
