Touch Pro 2 Cleanup

GT2L: Look at the 6.1 Rom and you see that there is a small QWERTY keyboard (good for stylus typing) available which has both numbers and letter on one page. I can't imagine that M$ or HTC just lost this keyboard during the process?

Hey GT2L does your cleanup cab change the keyboard layout as the spacebar for the touchscreen keyboard is not on the section with the letters but on the other. Not sure if this was an HTC thing or what. Somewhat annoying.

I had the same problem, it has to deal with the Cleanup cab disabling T9 correction. On the 2nd post in this thread there is a T9 fix cab, after you install that your touchscreen keyboard will look like it did, and the space bar will be where it was. That should fix your problem.

You're right, I'll have to look into this. Try installing the restore_t9_correction.cab in Post#2 and see if undoing classic autocorrect fixes it.

For one, my taskbar and battery meter seems to be screwed up. Nowhere can I see the battery amount being displayed in percentage. I don't use Verizon, so I'll never be including ICS for Verizon. The cab is floating around though. Too many files/settings in it to implement without a device to test with. That said, I do welcome any "fixes". I'll look into the battery driver more once I'm back from vacation.

Wrong place to ask this, since it's not related to the tweaks. However, the answer is they are on the exclusion list because closing them is pointless. They are "required" services and will just restart themselves.

They dumped it for not being "finger friendly". If there's a cab floating around to restore it, use it, but I won't be making adjustments for it.

Sorry all, but haven't really made any progress on resolving the memory leak (which is definitely a ROM issue, not a tweaks issue), and now my vacation is starting (girlfriend visiting from France and we're going on a trip -- WOOHOO!), so I'm going to hold off on a release until I'm back on the 5th. I know that will disappoint everyone, and I'm sorry, but I feel the existing bugs are pretty minimal, and I'd rather the next release be a high quality one.

UPDATE: On second thought, I will post the newest installers in this post for now... but be warned they're of "untested beta" quality. If you have trouble with them, stick with the ones in Post #1 until I'm back.
