ok guys i finally did it!! flashed to metro, ported my number (goodbye tmobile) so far the changes didnt take over fully. i still cant get txt but the guy said it was so late that the metro ppl closed so it wont take into effect untill tomorrow. however i was still using the tmobile line and it got cut off (2 hours after flashing) while i was on the phone talkin to a friend, and i missed a voicemail!!! grrrrr!!!! anyways hopefully everything will work, i'll update when something happens

this thread is made of fail.

The howto will get you going, i've sms with gsm preferred.

But the solutions may not apply to you.

I know for a fact that houdini ****ed up the flash on my phone. The MID and whatnot was not even CLOSE to what it should have been, and getting this bugger to work in ANY but sprint rom prevents all data [except weather and p.i.e.]from working.

again this is my experience, and based on it i suggest this to be a farse.

ok so i got internet and weather working, youtube doesn't work, quick gps wont download.
here's some issues i ran into

this entry wasn't there, so i added it as a dword.
1a: Using a registry editor goto HKLM/SOFTWARE/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS/UA/Config/UI

Find EnableServerEdit and change it to "1"



the folder wspheader2 wasn't in there so i added it,
and added the 2 strings (using suggested task manager) but not sure what type they should have been, right now they both are REG_SZ
and the value date are the number and the number with the 1 before it
6: Using a Registry Editor edit the following values:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader2]

ADD STRING -> "X-metropcs-MDN"="XXXXXXXXXX" ( Insert your 10 digit phone Number )
ADD STRING -> "X-DEVICE-MIN"="1XXXXXXXXXX" ( Insert your 10 digit phone Number WITH the 1 in front of it )

ive got everything working, *611, changed my code to 000000 but took my phone to several metro stores in tampa, FL and nobody ever knew what this phone was, can anybody refer me to any store around here or any person?
what should i do?
