Just going by what everyone else is doing at hofo. I tried changing my settings back to metropcs and internet and mms didn't work. Is yours metro flashed? I did my own, maybe that's why....

Hi, i just a question. after performing the 10 steps and may be after flashing with metro. Is it still usable with Sprint? Just in case if i do any mistake.

Is boston and surrondings also roaming?

yea i did it myself also, like i said i had recently had installed a different rom on the phone and thought i messed something up but didnt know everyone was having same prob. all i did was re-install the rom and everything went back to normal without doin the fix at hofo. also, during the time when i installed the rom the first time, i did a prl update via *228,,,i havent tried to update it again since i re-installed the rom so don know if that was the prob. anyways, if it works it works.

no. t-mobile tp2 is gsm. metropcs is cdma. will not work

Not to take away from the greatness of this post at all but just to mention that I have been using my TP2 on Page Plus Cellular http://www.pagepluscellular.com/ for several months now and as far as I can tell, it works for all aspects of the device and as well was a no brainier to get it working as they use the Verizon network.

Simply put if you have a TP2 and it works on Verizon, it will be just the same on PagePlus.

Now I'm not saying PP doesn't have its issues as their customer service is speratic and can really take their time getting issues resolved, so it is kind of a your on own carrier but I think that is to be expected from any low cost alternative.

But at $29.99 for 1,200 min talk or text, or $45.95 for unlimited of those. I can deal with that.

Note that with the 1,200 plan you only get 50.00mb data, and the unlimited you only get 20 but if your not a data hog and or have enough Wifi, an just care about talk & text, and are looking for a real easy mechanical transition from Verizon and I think others to PP, with these prices you could really get some savings.

Note also and this is not a plug but I use a dealer of theirs called Kitty Wireless http://www.kittywireless.com/ that not only are the best people to deal with as far as anything regarding a sign up an switchover but also I have set up with them a autorenewal to which they handle everything for my monthly renewals and have been spot on for this and as well are flawless at sending me notifications that everything has been done.

Im sorry to hear that my tp2 from t mobil is useless with metro..... they offer me a new carrier.. SimpleMobile there plan is 60 bucks a month and is suppose to have everything included. Can anyone give me a feedback on this company? Thanks a lot to all of you that help.

there awesome, i got a buddy on there with the $60 plan with full functionality on his nexus one with full 3G coverage

I might have accidentally changed the MIN number to my actual number and now the phone isn't dialing out. "Your phone is currently not authorized to make calls.."

any ideas?

did you try calling them and askin what your phone's MIN is. They might be able to pull it up real quick. Pimpsup is the metro pro around here, so you can wait for his input if mine doesn't work.
