never mind i found it. Thank you all. But i now have another issue. After all that, my phone failed the flash at the metro store. Now i dont know what to do. Please help.... again.

ok so heres the situation...No mms, but phone, text, and web all work.

Ive got the Mighty Rom on mine now.
Ive tried this cab from guys over at metro, I tired this JD Arcsoft 5.2.1.22 cab, and now I tried this Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24-pm.cab I found.
Nothing has worked. I dont know if I need to change roms or what.

one question I have though. in set up instructions for reg edits
they say for this
"X-DEVICE-MIN"="1XXXXXXXXXX" ( Insert your 10 digit phone Number WITH the 1 in front of it )

well my MIN is not the same as my phone number, so do I still use my phone number in this string or the correct MIN?

anyway, if anyone has some ideas of things I may try to get this going, please let me know. I think I give up for the rest of tonight. must sleep soon.

UPDATE. Just tried another cab from guys at metro, and this one took.
Everything seems to be working now

This thread is so awesome that i joined these forums just to post in it. This thread made me ride out on this surprisingly cool evening to my nearest MetroPCS store (which is not near at all) to offer them stacks of money to set me up. They said "no" in an impressive number of ways.

Is it true that the network is a newer version in the tri-state area (NY, NJ mainly for me) and you can't get a flashed TP2 to work on it here? The manager went so far as to tell me that if I called MetroPCS they would say it will work because they don't know anything about this. I'm jumping into my first smartphone here, so I figured the best way to do it was to pay for a phone already set up for MetroPCS and then buy a line of service (even if I had to get a phone with it). I need help because I really dig this TP2-on-MetroPCS combination. Any advice?

that is correct, will not work in NYC without roaming(.19 a minute)

I downloaded hotsync, and the usb drivers for the hero, put it in diagnostic mode, and went into device manager to make sure the computer detected it, and i made sure the memory card wasn't in the phone.

how do I "delete" it? do change any values, or completely delete registries? there are two registries in that folder. do I delete that whole folder?

theres no CM_Guardian_Service in my registry.. so now whats resetting UM/AN sections.. AN sections is the only part that keep resetting...
