Re: G-Mail Exchange Service Reliability?
I'm glad this thread resurfaced I had forgotten about it. I have not been having the problems i had at 1st. The last 2 days especially have been exceptional, am i the only 1 or has everyone noticed an improvement or do some think its worse?

Re: G-Mail Exchange Service Reliability?
I do leave microsoft exchange connected 24/7. I don't really notice too much battery drain. It is not constantly connected with your data service. it receives a signal then it connects and syncs.

Re: G-Mail Exchange Service Reliability?
I use google exchange for my calendar and contacts (calendar emails me an alert for next apt) and it seems to work fine for me. I would say I don't really use the phone for email after works hours so I can't say how it works then. I will say that I use VZW wireless sync for my push email. I can't set how often gmail checks my other pop account so I use wireless sync for email and it works great.
BTW I do have the 29.99 data plan and was shocked that I could use wireless sync. |
