I disagree. Sprint or any other company does not give anything away for free. Every decision they make is toward the outcome of a profit. If they can profit by selling this phone for $199.99 to some lucky customers then they can still make a profit by selling it for that price to everyone. The fact that several members have gotten the lower price by haggling is proof that it's a fair market price.

Indeed, it is Sprint who is nickle and diming its customers by charging a higher price for those not lucky enough to stumble upon this thread. That is unethical in my opinion.

Yeah, I did the chat thing online with Sprint just now, and the rep I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about.

I hope the reduction is not at the end of Oct. or year.

Online Chat just refused to credit my account!!! I begged when I did the order for a 75.00 credit, which they did, so they would only have to authorize a 75.00 credit, and she flatly refused.... She does not have any information on price matching, or lowering the price.. I will try to call them tomorrow and see if I can get the 75.00 credit.

So, the Webchat was not the solution, at least in my case.

Awesome...did you already have the phone and got additional credits for it or did you just now get it for $199?

Just keep calling. Call back tonight. Keep calling until you get someone on the line to apply the credit for you. It took me three separate calls. You'll most likely have to offer a credible threat to terminate your service and let them transfer you to retentions before they'll grant the credit to you.

Or just wait until tomorrow and then they can't say anything about not knowing its changed (Assuming it does). I mean... You're less than 24 hours at this point.

There has been some clarification that the Oct 1 discount is supposedly for corporations with 100+ lines. I don't think we'll see much change tomorrow.

I want to be a TP2 but I have one concern.
Can I transfer outlook calendar appointment complete with the different colors i use for different labels? Thanks

If you use PIMBackup, then all of your contacts/appointments/outlook settings SHOULD transfer.
