Already seeing the back tracking with this post.I bet there will be no price match.Yes you can call and try but i really have my doubts now about this really going to happen and jsut like this thread it keeps going and going for no reason.Either wait for the 1st and see or call it is the simple better then reading the same posts over and over.

I did not have to mention Verizon; all I said that couple of my colleagues was able to get the touch pro 2 for $199 and I paid $350 after all rebate. The lady was really nice and credited my account $150 plus 1 month free for being a loyal customer for 10 + years.

So all of you are talking about this 30 days of getting the adjustment. My question is, is it 30 days from when you purchased it? Or is it 30 days from when you receieved the phone and activated it?

If any of you have 2nd, 3rd, etc lines, and they are eligible for a contract extension, and they tell you that you are eligible for a "free month" or other credit, make SURE that you understand they may be referring to extending your other line.

No idea why they thought I wanted to do this when I bought my TP2, but as soon as I noticed they did it, I called 'em with a fury.

yeah they will tell you they dont price match. ask for account credits. my online bill as of right now just says -150. but i also just had my phone billed to my account. $299 was billed and of course i get the $100 mir.

I think I will wait for the 1st and the actual announcement before calling. Once it is official and the fact that you are still within the 30 day period will definitely give you more leverage in pushing your request for the $150 credit.
