Who loves his/her HTC TOUCH PRO 2 - Page 6

This is the first smartphone I've owned that "gets out of its own way" and lets me work (when I need to do so). Even with the stock ROM (plus GoodThings fixes) it just plain works, and works well. How could VZW do this? Release a phone they didn't screw up? Wow.

The only toy I enjoy more is my Squeezebox Duet.

So, I currently have a Touch Pro. How many people here have switched from their TP1? And how does the battery life and freezing issues compare w/ the TP2?

Battery life (to me) seems a little bit better than the TP1, but not by much. I'm sitting at 70% right now (4pm EST, took phone off charger at 8am). I know a lot of people complained about TP1 battery life, but I honestly never really had an issue unless it was under heavy usage.

Freezing hasn't occured yet (24 hrs with phone though)

Cicatrize, does it seem a lot more bulkier than the TP? I know according to the specs its slightly bigger, but how does it feel?

Personally, I think it is quite bulky compared to the TP, but the TP is super friggin small though. It's not bulky enough to bother me though.

What do you mean by bulky??? Because the TP2 is actually a hair thinner then the TP. It's definitely heavier but it's a nice heft that makes the device seem well built and exspensive

Agreed. My TP felt cheap, even though is wasn't

The TP2 feels like a well build device that will last, and it's not really that bulky. I was worried about all the comments regarding the size, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the phone. I love it.

I love it, but i just wish i knew how to do more then install cabs with it. Is there a write up anywhere about anything else. I'm starting to learn total commander but i'm still a little confused and afraid to mess up my phone with touching the wrong stuff.
