Under the Menu softkey there is an exceptions list, but I've not played with this much. It only appears as though you can exclude an app from 'all' key mappings.

You may want to look at this a different way. Modify your existing mapping and add a rule for the phone app. Under that rule, let the key perform its default action.

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

Has anyone figured out a way to get a Long Press Backspace Key to perform the Delete function?

First, the Keyboard Config recognizes the Backspace key as "Del" to begin with. Then, in the emulate key press menu I can't find a "Del" option in there at all. The "Backspace" and the default single click key action both perform exactly as expected, but I can't seem to get the delete function mapped.

It sure would be nice to be able to delete files, messages, and other things with a single long press of the Backspace key. (I have posted in the XDA thread for this software as a bug, and I'll go check over there next to see if there is any new information on this. Was curious if anyone else was trying to do this too.)

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

dude you rock. I found this program but was going about it completely wrong. I thought that I would try and assign CNTRL to the sms/mms. I like your way MUCH better.

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

Fingerkeyboard has built-in copy/paste shortcut keys. Granted, its an onscreen only solution, but chances are if youre highlighting text to copy to the clipboard, you are interfacing with the touchscreen anyway. This feature alone is the reason why Fingerkeyboard is one of the first apps I install on my device. Rhodium kbcontroller has plenty of potential, but im lazy and there already enough shiet i gotta customize after every flash.

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

<rant>

Just wanted to say I think they should have thought more about the copy/paste when making the OS flick/finger friendly. Flick scrolling would be fine, but to actually select an object, it would be nice if you can click hold for .5 seconds to begin selecting.

</rant>

I guess I'll try this application.

Of course man, but every release of a new phone brings new features we've always wanted, but takes away a few that we wish they kept. Then the next generation combines a few features and we feel like THATS the phone to buy. It's how they've always done it, and how they string people along buying a new model phone every year lol

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

I use Quick Menu it has built it Copy/paste when you highlight any text you press and hold the start menu icon and there you have cut, copy, paste, select all, select all and copy.
Here is a link to the program http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...menu-v2-7.html

Solution #1

First Download: Rhodium Keyboard Controller

You have to do everything you see in this picture.
After installing Rhodium Keyboard Controller ........

Have a question that no one seems to be able to figure out for me -Rhodium Keyboard Controller is a great tool, but how can I get it to work WITHOUT installing the Topaz Notification Manager SDKcerts cab??? I previously installed only the Topaz Notification Manager cab WITHOUT the packaged SDKcerts cab and it made the notifications bar at the top of the screen act as it did in the TP1 (click on a notification at the top of the screen and it opened each notification individually when tapped PLUS it gives you the old 5 Min/10 Min/15 Min/1 Hour/1 Day snooze options on alarms/reminders, instead of the new default 5 Min only snooze option offered w/ the Notifications Manager on the TP2). When I later installed the Rhodium Keyboard Controller I HAD to also install the SDKcerts cab and it put the Notifications Manager bar back to the new TP2 way (but w/ some minor tweaks to the Comm Mngr & Battery Status)....this is not at all what I want :.(

Can someone figure out how I can use the Keyboard controller WITHOUT installing the SDKcerts? I've asked on XDADevelopers and a few people tried to help me with no luck. Perhaps there is another tool out there that can also map hardware buttons AND keyboard keys that I can use other than Tarkim's Keyboard remapper? (Although, Tarkim's Rhodium Keyboard Controller is the bomb!)

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated! Thanks ;.)
