I tried this on TP2 and it would said the screen resolution was not supported. Am i missing something?

CTRL + Z should be Undo. I don't have that mapped and can't tell you if it works.
Can you please share how you got CTRL + A to work? I look in the long list and only see Select and that is not it.

My rule is set up like this:
Key Mode: Single/double click, long press
Event: Click
Action: Emulate key press
Key: 65 A key
Ctrl is checked
Send to: OS

So, when I press FN + A, it emulates CTRL+A, and selects all. It's worked in 99% of the programs I've tried.

By the sounds of it you're looking for an action called "select all", right? That's not how he's doing it. You're simply mapping the "A" key with the Fn option, and then when you configure it you still map it to the letter "A" but you check the CTL box so that when you press Fn+A the system actually sends CTL+A. Any program that supports it will understand that CTL+A is the key combo for the "Select All" option.

Hope that makes sense.

Thank you. I don't know why I was having such a hard time. I am an idiot.

CTRL + Copy? If you're trying to get Fn+C to emulate a CTRL+C then you simply map the C key with the FN option checked, and then set key mode to "Single/double click, long press", Event to "Click", Action to "Emulate key press", Key to "67 C key", and finally check the box below called "Ctrl". Now when you press Fn+c it will actually send a Ctrl+C command instead....which to most programs is "Copy".

Same goes for Fn+V, Fn+X, Fn+A, Fn+Left Arrow, Fn+Right Arrow.

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

Does anyone know how to add exceptions? For instance, I made my mute button rotate the screen, but I want to add an exception for so that it doesn't rotate my screen in a call.

Under the Menu softkey there is an exceptions list, but I've not played with this much. It only appears as though you can exclude an app from 'all' key mappings.

You may want to look at this a different way. Modify your existing mapping and add a rule for the phone app. Under that rule, let the key perform its default action.

Re: Copy And Paste On Touch Pro 2

Has anyone figured out a way to get a Long Press Backspace Key to perform the Delete function?

First, the Keyboard Config recognizes the Backspace key as "Del" to begin with. Then, in the emulate key press menu I can't find a "Del" option in there at all. The "Backspace" and the default single click key action both perform exactly as expected, but I can't seem to get the delete function mapped.

It sure would be nice to be able to delete files, messages, and other things with a single long press of the Backspace key. (I have posted in the XDA thread for this software as a bug, and I'll go check over there next to see if there is any new information on this. Was curious if anyone else was trying to do this too.)
