My picture tend to be clearer since I have made these modifications. I would also recommend using a custom rom with camera version 6.17 build 37495.

Please thank me I am trying to build my reputation. I will thank anybody who thanks me.
+1 on this. I took the plunge and removed the lens off the battery cover and it is night and day differences.
With lens, the shots were always blurry and looked 'glassy' (looked like the photo was taken behind dirty glass even when the lens was as clean as I could get it).

Re: tp2 still have the blurry camera!...tweak helped alot

my issue is that when i scroll through my pics they are all blurry for about 30 seconds and then they are fine. I think it has something to do with my memory card. I'm not sure if this is the same issue. If this cab will fix it, please post! thanks in advance.

The TP cameras have always been incredibly hard to take a decent pic with as they take SO DAMN LONG to auto-focus & actually snap a shot that it is virtually impossible to never move during the process (or get your 6 year old daughter to sit still that long).

If you're out in the bright sun, the TP camera is not half bad. Try it in low light & you might as well forget it. I was a pro photographer doing studio work for 10 years at one point, & even I have problems trying to take a decent low light shot with this POS.

no flash usually means bad low light pics.
take the plastic cover out of your back cover and that will help alot. kinda hard to get a clear picture through a cheap plastic cover. it also lets in a lot more light which helps the low light situations.
also, if you flash your own ROMS, the new sprint oem drivers for the camera are muched improved over 6.1 and the camera actually snaps much faster with it.
