Re: How do I upload movies on my TP2 ?
I could be wrong, but I think album will only play mp4 files. But if you do decide to convert them or "acquire" them in that format, then they will play perfectly smooth even when connected to your tv with album.

Re: How do I upload movies on my TP2 ?
When I wanted to rip DVD's to .avi form on my xv6800 I used SPB mobile DVD. Much easier interface than what was described in the tutorial posted earlier. I haven't tried using it for TP2, b/c I was wondering if the pre-set aspect ratios in the program would conflict with the unusual screen resolution of this device. To mountainwampus, have you tried ripping movies with the methods in the tutorial and playing them back on core player? Are they smooth? I remember the movies ripped from SPB mobile DVD were choppy when played on TCPMP on the xv6800. Anybody with any thoughts?

Re: How do I upload movies on my TP2 ?
I use a program called FairUse Wizard LE to convert my DVD's to avi files to play on my ppc's. You can get the free LE version at the FairUse Wizard site here. There's a tutorial here that will help you use it. I takes some time to convert but it does work and plays pretty well in TCPMP/CorePlayer.

I have to say that using Coreplayer and video out with QTV is not as bad as the touch pro was. Still a few blue screen flashes every now and then. Watched District 9 and it looked nice.
