How do I upload movies on my TP2 ?
Hi guys, I uploaded an .AVI movie on my TP2 but when I click on it, it starts media player but gives an error message that this file is not supported. I check in the user manual and it is suppose to be supported. The way I upload it is I plug my TP2 in my PC and just drag the .AVI movie to my storage card on my TP2, am I doing something wrong ? How do you do it ?

If you open up the .AVI in HTC Album, I believe they will play just fine (hence the supported format). But if you are opening them right from the file explorer, it goes to windows media player which does not support .avi . If you want to accomplish this without HTC Album I suggest TCPMP Player http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/ or Core Player http://coreplayer.com/ .

TCPMP is free but not as good as CorePlayer.

I could be wrong, but I think album will only play mp4 files. But if you do decide to convert them or "acquire" them in that format, then they will play perfectly smooth even when connected to your tv with album.

I've never ventured into the movie on my phone gig? Can you explain how or where a person goes to get movies? With this screen, I can't imagine not have 2 or 3 movies ready to go on long travel days.

Is there some software for this?
