To mountainwampus, have you tried ripping movies with the methods in the tutorial and playing them back on core player? Are they smooth? I remember the movies ripped from SPB mobile DVD were choppy when played on TCPMP on the xv6800. Anybody with any thoughts?
The tutorial I linked to (DVD decryptor/GordianKnot) makes extremely high quality rips in small files and is 100% freeware. I tested a 700mb xvid rip on the TP2 with Coreplayer, verdict: smooth as pudding with excellent sound quality. This MUST be how axxo rips.

For some reason TCPMP is not smooth on my TP2.
