Re: TP2 sensitivity to usb cable?

I have the same problem with mine. I've tried 2 OEM TP2 cables, 2 OEM TP cables, 1 Belkin, 3 generic. With the exception of the TP/2 cables they work fine in a myriad of other devices.

I don't think this is a cable thing...at least with my device. Jeez, do I need to get my TP2 replaced already. I may never buy HTC again. They just can't seem to make a device that doesn't break. I've never had an HTC device that I haven't had to replace at least 3 times....all the way back to the Apache.

Re: TP2 sensitivity to usb cable?

Same here, it's not the cable.... yet it seems fine for things like tv out and wired headsets.

I can move the connector ever so slightly up and down and when I do this it will connect/disconnect from the computer. There is no side-to-side movement at all.

Basically there is no way I can hold the TP2 and use it while connected to USB.

Is this normal?

Re: TP2 sensitivity to usb cable?

Bummer if it is the device. I had the same issue and it was definitely a faulty cable. If you try multiple cables and it doesn't solve your program then I would say call up your carrier and get a warranty replacement or something.

Re: TP2 sensitivity to usb cable?

I believe if the cable that came with the phone causes it then you shouldnt be forced to buy 3-4 different ones to find one that is "extra" snug.

bring in your Stock cable in with your phone; i think they'll replace the phone.
