I have the same problem with mine. I've tried 2 OEM TP2 cables, 2 OEM TP cables, 1 Belkin, 3 generic. With the exception of the TP/2 cables they work fine in a myriad of other devices.
I don't think this is a cable thing...at least with my device. Jeez, do I need to get my TP2 replaced already. I may never buy HTC again. They just can't seem to make a device that doesn't break. I've never had an HTC device that I haven't had to replace at least 3 times....all the way back to the Apache.
