while it looks nice and stylish...$36 is a steep price for it IMO. i guess i'll just wait a bit more for a more reasonable price.

After all this time, can anyone vouch for a vendor/product that really works? I want to get a cradle with a charging slot for an extra battery. Must work with Verizon (it appears that VZW and Sprint have different USB connectors (pin-outs)?).
I purchased a cradle and battery from iGoneMobile. The battery is great for $17...lasts longer than the OEM battery. But the cradle was completely non-functional in several ways. They have promised to refund, but I had to pay for return shipping. Very disappointing...
Anyone had better luck for VZW TP2s? I am looking at the Think: TouchPro2 site...looks like a decent option.

Thanks for this I just ordered one it looks like it will work perfectly. 30 bucks doesn't seem bad either especially since it has an audio out port on the back as well.

Here's the thing I don't understand. The unit I bought from iGoneMobile definitely had some USB issues. I thought maybe it was for Sprint and therefore would not sync with my VZW phone. Then I found this site:

They clearly separate the Sprint and Verizon versions of this cradle, saying that one is not compatible with the other, which confirmed my suspicion that each carrier has a different USB pinout.
However, the unit from Daydeal (1 post up) is labeled Sprint/Verizon, and we have one data point from Robodoc82 that it works with Sprint.
What's the real story on these cradles? Are they Sprint/Verizon interchangeable?

The unit from ThinkTouchPro2 was out of stock for too long, so I gave up waiting and purchased the cradle from DayDeal. Still testing, but so far, it seems like everything is working. The external battery charger worked great, but I seem to have gotten a slow or limited charge via USB. This might be because the phone was not fully engaged with the jack on the base. Trying again with a better fit to see if that improves things.
It's unfortunate that the phone only charges off USB and the extra battery only off the wall plug. That is the only drawback I can see to this unit. My Fuze (TP1) didn't work that way, as I recall.
Does anyone know if the phone charges differently via USB from the computer versus being plugged into the wall with the charging adapter?

In searching ebay with either T-Mobile or Sprint TP2 there are not any compatible cradles as of yet. Only GSM types which will not work.

Accordng to their picture unless they're using a generic picture, this won't work for the Sprint variant of the TP2 as the USB is off-center.

It's the placement of the USB ports, Sprint's has its to the left while the GMS version is centered. Could probably use the one you had (if you had one) from your TP.
