The unit from ThinkTouchPro2 was out of stock for too long, so I gave up waiting and purchased the cradle from DayDeal. Still testing, but so far, it seems like everything is working. The external battery charger worked great, but I seem to have gotten a slow or limited charge via USB. This might be because the phone was not fully engaged with the jack on the base. Trying again with a better fit to see if that improves things.
It's unfortunate that the phone only charges off USB and the extra battery only off the wall plug. That is the only drawback I can see to this unit. My Fuze (TP1) didn't work that way, as I recall.
Does anyone know if the phone charges differently via USB from the computer versus being plugged into the wall with the charging adapter?
