I ordered 2 charging cradles from nakedcellphone on eBay and cannot recommend the product.

The supplied power cord does not work to charge the phone or battery on one unit and the usb connection does not synch the phone on the other cradle. The housing is poorly designed and/or manufactured and the cords must be manually adjusted to obtain connectivity.
The seller will replace, but not refund payment for the defective units.
Unfortunately this is again proof that you get what you pay for.

I also decided to take a gamble and buy one of those fleaBay Honk Kong Touch Pro2 docks and I too got let down.

The one I purchased was from this seller. The problem is that the dock won't automatically switch over to AC power once the computer it's connected to (via USB) is shut off/goes to standby. What you would have to do is disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to get it to recognize the AC power or disconnect the USB cable and redock the phone. VERY ANNOYING! Secondly, the dock grips the phone to tightly and requires that I hold down both sides of the dock with one hand and remove the phone with the other. I'm contacting the seller and requesting a refund.

Someone has to be the early adopter... it's 20 bucks via paypal. If it doesn't fit the phone like they state it will in the auction, than I tell them to ship me a new one or refund my money. Either way, it's only 20 bucks and I've actually had nothing but good experience with HK ebay sellers. Trick is to set your expectations as high as the prices. (don't expect perfection when paying 1/10th the price)

I'm guessing the doc will arrive sometime the week... I'll post pictures when it arrives.

Funny thing I just got it today... took a little longer than expected (think it took close to 3 weeks to get here).

I haven't really had the chance to play with it much, but plugged it into the computer with the phone and it syncs up and charges as expected.

I have zero complaints with the product for 20 bucks...

One thing I noticed in the item listing is how quickly it charges. Would this overheat the battery or be a bad thing?

Well, I currently only have the USB cable plugged into the computer... I don't have the extra adapter that came with it plugged in.

Either way, so long as the voltage is correct the phone is going to draw however many amps it can get/needs to charge... the charging is regulated by the phone not the dock. Basically, there's no need to worry... this dock won't make your phone charge any faster than a wall/in-car charger would.
