Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2

I just got my Touch Pro 2 today and have been running some tweaks on it. I tried to edit the config for Opera to view pages in full HTML:

about:config
scroll down on the page to item User Agent and click on it.
It says Spoof user agent ID

1 is Opera Mobile 9.5
2 is Firefox
3 is desktop IE 6

and also need to change the custom user agent from
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP

to Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT)..

This worked for the Touch Pro but it does not seem to work on the Touch Pro 2. Has anyone been able to get Opera on their Pro 2 to display full HTML Web pages?

It worked for me....I had to follow the directions on that trick exactly and hit save way at the bottom of the page, then close, then close with task manager since it will not really be closed the first time.

I had even more trouble with the 5 tabs mod.

I followed it exactly too and it won't work.. Even rebooted and nothing.. Heck, the 5 tabs was actually the thing that worked for me.. But HTML nope..

Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2

Can someone tell me what the difference is between full HTML and what it's currently displaying? And why you would want it?

Thanks.

Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2

The full page is what you would see on a desktop computer, with all the links and full content, etc.

Some sites will only give you limited content if it detects you are using mobile.

Thanks, these tweaks worked great no more forced mobile pro football talk
Does anyone know if it's possible to make the phone perform a feedback vibration when you click a link (similar to when you hit a key on the on-screen keyboard or when you're phone call connects)?

Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2

Followed the steps but cannot get the settings to stick. I close opera and then kill it with dot fred taskmanager. There must be another step that you guys did as I've already tried 6 times and still the setting don't take.

Thanks,
Nathan

I believe this is a feature of one of the newer Opera versions, maybe someone can confirm?
