Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2
I just got my Touch Pro 2 today and have been running some tweaks on it. I tried to edit the config for Opera to view pages in full HTML:
about:config scroll down on the page to item User Agent and click on it. It says Spoof user agent ID 1 is Opera Mobile 9.5 2 is Firefox 3 is desktop IE 6 and also need to change the custom user agent from Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP to Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT).. This worked for the Touch Pro but it does not seem to work on the Touch Pro 2. Has anyone been able to get Opera on their Pro 2 to display full HTML Web pages? |

I followed it exactly too and it won't work.. Even rebooted and nothing.. Heck, the 5 tabs was actually the thing that worked for me.. But HTML nope.. |
Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2
Ok.. It finally worked.. Took a few tries but it is working..

Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2
Can someone tell me what the difference is between full HTML and what it's currently displaying? And why you would want it?
Thanks. |
Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2
The full page is what you would see on a desktop computer, with all the links and full content, etc.
Some sites will only give you limited content if it detects you are using mobile. |

Thanks, these tweaks worked great no more forced mobile pro football talk :)
Does anyone know if it's possible to make the phone perform a feedback vibration when you click a link (similar to when you hit a key on the on-screen keyboard or when you're phone call connects)? |

hey Mr jHcomputerGuy, can you post the exact steps necessary to make opera display full HTML.. tHX |
Re: Opera on Sprint Touch Pro 2
Followed the steps but cannot get the settings to stick. I close opera and then kill it with dot fred taskmanager. There must be another step that you guys did as I've already tried 6 times and still the setting don't take.
Thanks, Nathan |

I believe this is a feature of one of the newer Opera versions, maybe someone can confirm? |
