http://www.ppcgeeks.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=18 I looked for the hidden one on my Sprint TP2 and could not find it. Is it possible that there are only 2 when the Telus model had three? Last edited by NYC Guy; 09-25-2009 at 08:43 AM. |

Are some brands of protectors easier to apply to the screen than others? |

Re: [Guide]Perfect application of screen protectors with pics.
These probably are the easiest to apply as far as "basic" screen protectors go.
I think fitment and alignment may be easier with an InvisibleShield or GhostArmor product. |

The film or haziness is normal. After the application it is normal to see a haziness or white film. That should go comepletely away in 1-2 days. Any inperfections will most likely go away unless there is dust stuck under the protector. You will probably notice it starting to clear up after a few hours. So give it a little time and it should look great, unless its just a really crappy protector. *and remember you only need a couple drops of the soap mixed with the water, dont over do the soap. Is there a way to resurrect this protector and remove all the marks that I had left or do I need to order another protector? Also now that I have peeled it off will there be less of the sticky substance left on it to hold properly? |

Re: [Guide]Perfect application of screen protectors with pics.
so, i got my replacement yesterday without a new screen protector, and my old one isnt the gretest, but i had to use it....
anyways, i followed all the steps, im not gonna go into all them but i did skip 1, the soap and water solution because i am just wierd........ im sure the soap solution would have worked better but once again i opted not to......... To me the key points is make sure the moister drops all the particles and your hands are clean from oils and etc.....I even removed it to get it perfect like 10 diff times, and even touched the sticky side with my fingers........ so, my used screen protector looks beautiful because of this guide, im not saying skip the water and soap solution, but if ya paranoid like me you dont have to as long as you follow the OP instructions.... The moisture and clean hands kept it nice and didnt allow dust to arise from out of know where....... I will always use these steps and maybe one day even use the solution, but wow, this is a definant needed post..... thanks OP for the great write up, you made my old and used screen protector look brand new and looks better than when new on its first phone.... freakin rock on....
