The film or haziness is normal. After the application it is normal to see a haziness or white film. That should go comepletely away in 1-2 days. Any inperfections will most likely go away unless there is dust stuck under the protector. You will probably notice it starting to clear up after a few hours. So give it a little time and it should look great, unless its just a really crappy protector.

*and remember you only need a couple drops of the soap mixed with the water, dont over do the soap.
Is is too late as I was upset in the way it appeared and peeled it off. I was tempted to start all over again but I had taken off my rubber gloves when I removed it and my fingerprints definitely appear on the back sticky side.

Is there a way to resurrect this protector and remove all the marks that I had left or do I need to order another protector? Also now that I have peeled it off will there be less of the sticky substance left on it to hold properly?
