Granted, this was on a Touch Pro original screen protector almost a year after I got the phone, but the soapy solution kinda tore away the film, destroying the screen protector. I think if you use a very small amount with a new screen protector, there shouldn't be any issues.

I screwed up my installation of the screen protector last night and I think the culprit was too much soap. I had purchased on eBay the one from a company called "Clear Protector" for $7.46. It was a disaster as even after I used a credit card there was still a film like substance that appeared on the screen.
Are some brands of protectors easier to apply to the screen than others?
