Why are people posting what they paid for their TP2 and subtracting the sale price of their previous phone? Something to boast about would how to get out of paying sales tax. It takes a true magician to make the sales tax disappear. $199.99 no sales tax. I have to wait a few more weeks for my $100 mail in rebate to arrive. So my total cost is $99.99 with Sprint.

once the tech finally decides the phone is toast, she offers me every exchange except the TP2. I turn everything down, as I need WM non square resolution and qwerty keyboard. so snap and treo pro are out. as we determine there is nothing else, I opt for a touch pro replacement. I've played dumb this entire time, and not once mentioned a TP2. As they dont have ANYTHING on display in the store about it/ for it. she calls the local stores looking for a TP in stock, as I explain it isnt possible for me to not have a phone. she doesnt turn anything up. I ask her for a loaner until the refurb TP comes in. She excuses herself to the back to see what they have to loan.

5 minutes later she comes out with a TP2 opened, but NIB. She says I have a touch pro 2 here I could give you.. I still play dumb acting as if I didnt know the thing was out. we quietly do the exchange and I leave with a opened but new TP2. She told me it was a "refurb" but it did come in a retail box, and ##778# reveals it isnt!


I wouldnt have gone for the TP -> TP2 upgrade. but for free with no new service agreement! Thanks Sprint!

Free.. New in box from sprint store about 2 months ago took in TP1 with multiple issues and got it swapped for TP2 Same day.. Love the phone but feel bad for you guys that had to pay for it since it's just a TP1 with a bigger screen basically..

Zero, - Sprint TEP program went thru 7 TP's and they just gave me the TP2

0 for one line. TEP upgraded TP1 to TP2 after several replacements.

-$100 for the other. Paid $100 for it and sent in $100 MIR. Put phone numbers for both of my lines on the rebate form as I wasn't sure which line I would have the TP2 on when the rebate was processed. After sending in the rebate, I got my TP1 on my other line replaced with a TP2 for free via the TEP. They processed the rebate after I got the free TP1 upgrade on my other line and they gave me a $100 rebate for each line ($200 total). I basically made about $92 once you take out tax and the cost of the stamp
