OK, I think HTC officially knows it's a bug now instead of saying it was a design by choice. They say they know it's a problem and are working on a fix.

Thank goodness!!!

Finally! HTC kept tell me, via customer service, that it was "by design".

Same here!

Did you test the memory usage of MS 3.5? I'm curious because I did test MS3.01 and it actually used about 20MB less than TF3D...

I'm at 77% with MS 3.5 with Outlook Email and Opera running.

EDIT: Brain flatulence - forgot I had SPB Weather running. That was like 4 MB or better. 60% with Outlook and Opera running.

That is whacky. It must be a TF3D bug. Do you have the screen lock applied?

Whoops. Should have read to the end.

Thanks for also taking the time to use the HTC customer service link!! I'm sure the HTC reps are not happy with me right now because I have been asking them to duplicate the TP2 "bugs" on their versions of the Sprint phone. The first two people who responded to the "home tab" problem said it was by design.

I am really happy they responded differently to your question.

So after enjoying this fix for several days I uninstalled the unlock cab because I live in fear that someone in IT will notice that my phone has to be continually sent policy enforcing instructions or whatever it is that causes my phone to display that notification every day. I'll live with the bug till a better fix comes along that won't anger the IT gods. :p

You might as well just use it. The only way your IT people would see that is if they purposefully search for it on the exchange servers event logs. There is no nice GUI for it and you would have to dig for a while to find it...afterall it's an exchange server. Keep in mind IT people are lazy and most likely would not dig through logs for something so random as checking policy sync
