After a month of fighting this 'bug' including accidentally hanging up on people because of pushing the wrong buttons, i finally broke down an installed SPB 3.5. The 'bug' is gone.

i really hope they correct this 'feature' in the next update.

i tried the option of not locking the phone & made a call .. it worked .. but thats not a fix IMO .. its just now im unable to lock my phone ... is there any cabs out there just for locking a phone ? idk but it sux cuz i dont need nosy ppl snooping in my phone lol or if i lose it sum1 getting a free phone to use

Update from HTC

I understand how frustrating it can be when a device does not function as expected. At this time we do not have an estimate as to when a fix will be available for the Home tab while on call issue you are experiencing. From my understanding you may be able to avoid the issue completely by turning off any screen lock password you have enabled on your device. Other than that, it appears you may already know the common work arounds, such as pressing the phone key to bring the phone application back up, or using the hardware keyboard numbers to dial. I apologize for any frustration this situation may have caused you. You should be able to register with the HTC e-Club and receive notification via e-mail whenever a fix is released for your device on the www.htc.com web page.

doesnt happen on my tmobile touch pro 2, im on a 6.5 rom now but it never did that on my stock rom either........... that does sound annoyning hopefully there is a work around.....

what is throttle lock ? ..... tried s2u2 & when in landscape mode & or keyboard out when i turn the phone on or if the phone is on & a call comes in the screen is a big blur .. tried uninstalling & reinstalling still the same .. NO GOOD .. i liked pocket shield but the cab i stumbled on asked for me to register way to much .. anyone have a link to a version where that message is gone ?

I have sprints TP2 and this is annoying. When your checking your voicemail and you put your face to the phone then the dialer is gone and you cant press the keypad to save or delete the message unless you press other buttons to get back the keypad.

If this really bother you then you should disable your lock feature on your phone by unchecking the box for prompt when not in use. If you really need to hide things in your phone then you should disable it and install a third party lock program like the ones mentioned earliar in the thread.

If you Dont want to do that then disable TF3D an install something like spb shell or something.
