Re: Touch Pro 2 for SERO users
Quick question my girlfriend has an account that was eligible for upgrade we went ahead and ordered the TP2 last week and it will be delivered today. I am planing on swapping my TP1 to her and the TP2 is for me.
Should I first activate it on her account then call back to have them swapped or do you think I can just have it activated on my account and swap mine to hers in the same call. Thank you. |

Re: Touch Pro 2 for SERO users
It has to stay on hers for 30 days to get the MIR if you were counting on that.
I've been on a TP2 on SERO since Friday. Ordered via telesales, had to call in to activate. Had previously called and CC put a note on my account saying that I was eligible for upgrade and the TP2 would work with SERO so... |

Re: Sero Plan & TP2 orderers
the ****ty of it all is last year when i ordered my tp...the ota screwed up something so bad in the phone that it had to be exchanged via tech support...the esn that was originally purchased was on the rebate form...needless to say i did not get the mail in rebate as the tp was only active for 1 day on my account.

Re: Sero Plan & TP2 orderers
I've been a long time Palm user and ready to change (though I did have the Treo 800w) but I have the same F&F 500 plan.
I have NOT upgraded yet, but when I tried to do it online it had me go to the everything plus referral site. I pretended like I was going to change to the TP2, and added it to the cart, no problems. It showed my contract would be extended. Again I didn't finalize the order. I decided to test this out with the Pre, and when I added the Pre to my account it said I would not be able to upgrade and would have to change plans. So an automatic screen came up letting me know my plan would not work. But with the TP2, that screen did not come up. Just took me to the purchase screen. Some of you may try that way. Cause if the website will let you order, and says nothing about changing plans, what can they do? It gives no warning, and lets you do it, so it must work. Anyway, just a bit of info, and what I got when I tried it. |

"Mail-in rebate: Phone must be active for a minimum of 30 days to finalize processing of rebate submission." It doesn't not really specifiy that it needs to be done on the same line it was ordered on. I don't see a problem if I own/pay for 2 phones on the same account. It is my right to put the phone on whatever account I wish. They are both on contract. |
