my nderstanding is that u can activate the tp2 online yourself with no problem. but if your parents/sister want to receive the mail in rebate, the phone they ordered has to be active on their account for at least 30 days. if you/your family dosent care about the MIR, then i assume what you proposed would be fine, and you should be able to activat the tp2 on your account via the sprint website like a few members here have already done.

I know that it says "your device must be active for 30 days to finalize processing of rebate submission", but no where it says that the device must be active on that same line that you brought the device for. In the past, I've received my rebate even if I never activate the phone I brought under my account. Well, this is from experience.. so yeah

all it said is we need a data add-on which we have with sero. so not sure why $100 rebate would not go through...

if my rebate is rejected for sero, i will fight because the rep that sold me the phone knew i had sero and told me the phone was 350 after rebate.

I am excited about my TP2 coming in the mail...but also a bit concerned since I used my friend's sero account upgrade points to make the purchase, and a few members here have chimed in and said that the device I just bought has to be active on the line for which it was purchased for at least 30 days in order to receieve the $100 MIR.

Can anyone else confirm? Or at least point me in the right direction where I can read the clauses myself or something? Any help would be appreciated, guys. TIA.

I have activated my new TP2 on a old SERO 30 plan. No problems. I had to call it in. I have NEVER been able to do online activation with a new phone that first time once it has been used on my account I can swap it online....

Touch Pro 2 for SERO users

So I'm on the sprint website and it says I can't upgrade to the Touch Pro 2.

I get the following message:

I doubt anyone will accept "upgrading" out of a SERO plan. Simply leave, or hang up, and try again. And the stores don't have it yet. Tuesday maybe
