I ordered mines yesterday too and fedex wont deliver until the 8th :(

I see that Verizon will be launching this phone on 9-11 at $199 A/R. I wonder if Sprint will lower their price? or do a price match? Thoughts?

Mine is shipping UPS but it says billing info received, does anyone have a clue when they think it should be here since its OverNight via UPS?

"Billing info Received" means that Sprint has notified UPS of a shipment, but it hasn't been picked up yet. So, it could mean that UPS will be to the Sprint warehouse today..., or sometime in the future ](*,) :(.

you guys who are paying full price thru telesales, are you being charged a government tax of around 50 bux? i can get it now but ill be paying full price. my yearly discount isnt available until october 1st (right when the touch pro was available). no way am i waiting that long... but just curious as to who all is getting charged for this tax?

Its the same warehouse that Sprint ships out of for all their phones. At least the times I've bought over the phone this is the location they come from. Has nothing to do with HTC.

I ordered mine today and hopefully i'll have it by Tuesday. I'm not mad or upset in the least because i'm in no rush to run back to 6.1. I don't use manilla right now, i like titanium as is. To have to go back to manilla and 6.1 is not something i'm in a rush to do. Hopefully the unlocker will come out before Tuesday, then i'll be oh so anxious to receive my tp2

I did call 2 more times--was denied again then finally got the order thru with no hassle. They are definitely misleading customers on this, telling them it can't be done.

Like State/Local tax? Because yeah, my tax alone was $81.

The thing with delivery is that it does not deliver on labor day. So it won't come monday. What is pissing me off though is what UPS did >.>

Just ordered mine with success using the sero number (sero $30 plan)

Initially I got a lady that was adamant in switching to the $59.99 plan and when I refused and said that I would have to reconsider my order she still attempted to sell me accessories and etc (I have no clue what I would do with accessories if I didn't even want the phone)
Her reasoning for needing to switch plans was that my plan only has "basic data" and that I would need a plan with "unlimited data" I attempted to argue that t he SERO plan has unlimited data in the sense that I can use as much as I want without success....

10 Minutes later I called again and got a lady with an accent that pretty much guaranteed I would not have to switch plans and informed me that I could use the activation website to activate my phone when I receive it.

Both seemed to fake interest in my purchase, repeating identical information on the specs of the phone and how great it is.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get here (running out of patience with my Mogul)

p.s.

She told me there were no other shipping options other than the standard $12 something

Got my Sprint TP2 today:
- Ordered 9/2 @ after 9PM PST via EVPdiscount.com
- They shipped it 9/3 (paid $12 for next day air)
- Arrived 9/4 @ 1:35 PST

The stats above are for people wondering how long it takes...

i just hope noone is holding there breaths for a saturday delivery... ups and fedex have saturday deliveries, but sprint wouldve had to check that option and its extra.. so i doubt sprint did that for us...

i have enough to do this weekend anyways, but yeah, it still wouldve been nice to have it

Sprint doesn't do Saturday delivery no mater what, something about their policy.

I believe it got mentioned earlier but I didn't see an answer, has anyone tried to get Sprint to match Verizon's $199 after rebate price on the TP2?

you wont get sprint to match anything.... not right now anyways...

thats technically not an offical price until its launched with that price...

youd never get ABCwarehouse or Best Buy to price match something thats not out yet...

i think when VZW actually drops the device(im not arguing the price) then maybe spritn cann get talked into price matching... if that happens, ill probably buy a few and sell em ebay for the people who cant talk their way into a price match deal, as im sure itll take a rentention call to get the price matched

That's really the next available delivery date, since Monday is a holiday. I ordered mine earlier today and haven't received an estimate yet :(

Yeah, UPS seems to have decided to punk several of us here in ppcgeek land. I'm not a big fan of UPS right now, to say the least. My Sprint email clearly says "overnight PM", but UPS changed it to ground. Then, my package is sitting about 25 miles away at the UPS facility where it will load on a truck on Tuesday morning. But they wouldn't let me go pick it up myself today. Sprint even tried calling them and asking them to release it to me. Kudos to Sprint, and I can't type what I'm thinking about UPS.

Based upon how Sprint is shipping you should have it Tuesday, but then, the unknown factor is UPS.

sprint told me today they don't use UPS on Saturdays or Sundays, I understand Sunday but they told me I would have it today when I ordered it (and 3 other times) and now they decide to tell me I will not have it till Wednesday. Sprint doesnt even have the ability keep their own stories strait.

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but if the "Direct Ship" date was 09/08/09 and ppl have clearly ordered and some have received the phone 4 days in advance; does this mean that the 8th is the date the phone will hit the stores? Or am I misunderstanding the phrase direct ship to mean somethin other than the obvious? lol
