Good luck with that. I think I had something like that happen once and when I called UPS they said it was scheduled to be delivered that day. My guess is their tracking is more advanced on their end (at least I hope it is or there would be tons of lost packages).

Sounds like you got someone who didn't feel like doing any digging for the info. It's available, as I'm sure you've seen a lot of us have ours on the UPS trucks right now, so I would call back.

They are shipping to my home address of Moore, OK. (don't go driving around looking for the truck :) )

I finally got thru to someone that has a clue about this phone, I just finished ordering mine with no BS about availabilty issues. every time I called I was getting the same ceter in the phillipines, the lady on the phone was nice and took the time to explain all the great features on my new phone, as though I have no clue what kind of phone im getting. She gave a confirm. number and est delv date of sept 9th. I wonder the other 2 chicks in call center skipped work the day they all told the touch pro 2 would be going on sale today, or maybe just lazy like you mentioned. I gotta go now, i have to pick up my UPS truck and deliver everyones TP2.

If anyone is interested in picking up your shipped phone at the UPS station call 1.800.833.9943. try to call ASAP, before the drivers leave the warehouse cuz after they leave you gonna have to wait for the driver. We usually leave by 9.00am

Can anyone confirm that the touch pro 2 can in fact be activated on a SERO plan? I'd hate to order it and dish out $500+ only to find out that I can't activate it. I know telesales is "selling" them to sero customers but I want to know if it can actually be activated?

you can put it on whatever plan you want, the same as tp1.

Well, I can't even drive to UPS and pick mine up. Even with Sprint intervening and authorizing it for me, UPS says they've got to attempt delivery at least once, which is next freaking Tuesday, and they absolutely will not let me drive the 15-25 miles to go get it. And Sprint shipped it overnight PM too. UPS changes it to ground. Argh! I'm out of luck and have to wait now.

My hub is open till 8pm tonight, if it gets there by then I'm going up there anyway. Someone screwed up and apparently no one can fix it.

I sold my touch pro yesterday too so I've got no cell phone. lol....

Indeed, I'm off work for Monday too for Labor day. And college football starts back this weekend; would have been a PERFECT weekend!!

Just doesn't make sense to me why some people were shipped actual next day and some 3 day and some ground, when we all pay the same rate for shipping.

I just responded to you. Let me just say publicly that if UPS had been willing to cooperate with me and Sprint I wouldn't be responding now, I'd be driving to their local hub. Kudos to Sprint though. The order rep spent a goodly amount of time trying to get something worked out with UPS on my behalf. UPS just won't allow me to pick it up unless they've attempted delivery, which is of course next Tuesday. I'm not a happy camper right now.

So that sounds like they may not leave it at the door. I told sprint to deliver to my work and the rep took my work address and everything. And it was still shipped to my house.

They've always left it in the past so you should be okay. But with UPS acting so crazy, who knows. I'll have my oldest son stay at my house Tuesday all day until delivery. I usually don't get delivery from UPS until about 6-7p so I'll have a long wait.

Second call and once again "Your SERO plan is not compatible..."

I then mention about all the people who are getting the order through with SERO and she tells me that technically they can order the phone but when they get it, the email and internet won't work because they will need to switch plans. She wad adamant about that. Scare tactic?

Either they are deliberately misleading people to get them off of SERO or a lot of SERO users are going to have surprise when they go to activate their phone.

All I know is I have never had this much resistance when trying to order a phone before and it is not like I'm getting a deal on it--nearly paying full.

Personally, my BS detector is going off and I don't think there is a plan requirement, but damn if they aren't being consistent about it.

When you fellow SEP/SERO users get your TP2 working...please chime in with those details!

That's what happened to me yesterday, I ended up paying full retail for it (my contract isn't up anyway), and tell you what, if you paid full retail for it, they can't refuse to sell you one. Although it'll cost a bit more but it's a bargaining chip for keep your SERO. Which down the road can still off-set by moving to the Everything Plus they wanted you to have.

P.S. Some reports of activating online successfully keeps the SERO.

ive never had them leave a phone at my door.... they always have left the little ticket on the door saying theyll be back the next day or i can pick it up after 6... thats just my experience...

Me either. This is absolute bull****. I Ordered mine at 9:45 AM and the only thing that's happened is my debit card got charged and I got an email. Not a single update on the order page. I'm so mad right now it's not even funny.

I believe they use state 2-4 to cover their behinds. In case there is a slight problem with weather or flight delay. Most of the time, when I order either a new phone or I need a replacement out of their warehouse I do indeed get it the next day and at the latest the 2nd day.

Ah, I see what you mean and yes many of the out for delivery that show up today on ppls tracking could actually not show up until the 8th or later. Hopefully that is not the case but is not unheard of. In my case I will post pics if I do get it, if not no biggie. I'll just enjoy my weekend even more with my family knowing that I'm getting a new phone next week. :)

I havent read through this thread so Im not sure if this has already been postet..

I ordered yesterday around noon, never received a tracking number.. still havent. I went to the site sprint.com/myorder and the number never appeared. While I was on the page a chat box popped up so I asked for the status and they gave me a tracking number. The phone is scheduled to arrive today.

i believe when i spoke to Sprint last night when i ordered mine, that they told me that it ships directly from the manufacture (HTC), so maybe they use FedEX and not ups?. Or maybe they use both....

still haven't gotten any info, mines still in processing, but i ordered at 10 PM at night... lol
