Iphone have a dedicated GPU that is why it's graphics is like that. Tegra on the other hand have 8 cores in it's chip. See here. Each core is dedicated to it's specific function. Like computing, HD audio, HD video etc. and its working as 1 chip. This chip went to Zune. which is the APX2500/2600. The good thing about it is once the floodgates for Zune apps were opened, The games and any other apps will be ripe for picking once the Tegra phone comes out. The bad thing,(I hope not) the first Tegra phone which will be made by HTC(Superstar) will not have that chip. Instead, they put an unknow chip which is AP16. Nobody knows about that chip. Even Nvidia does not have info on their site about it. I wouldn't be surprise if HTC got in the way and start crippling functionalities. So at this point, What we want is a Zune phone. Zune right now will go head to head with Ipod touch. Isn't it nice if M$ have something to go head to head with the Iphone?

Ohh yeah. I am fully aware that HTC is going to push tegra devices. But now you got me worried. One thing I did not give much thinking was how and if TEGRA chips and be disabled like the current MS7200 ATI chips. If Tegras can be locked, then we are screwed and we must jump ship tp iphone and start cracking that to run WM7. Period.
