Zune right now will go head to head with Ipod touch. Isn't it nice if M$ have something to go head to head with the Iphone?

Ohh yeah. I am fully aware that HTC is going to push tegra devices. But now you got me worried. One thing I did not give much thinking was how and if TEGRA chips and be disabled like the current MS7200 ATI chips. If Tegras can be locked, then we are screwed and we must jump ship tp iphone and start cracking that to run WM7. Period.

Well Samsung is making a Tegra phone. I'm sure once the chip is out,every makers will follow.

Have you seen this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=81090 ? Hopefully this will provide some releif until Tegra hits the market. I think the issue here is that HTC settled with mediocracy. Better chipsets have been available for awhile, yet its obvious HTC felt no need/desire to upgrade. I hope Microsoft ups the requirements list for WM7 to include a more robust processor with rendering capabilities on par or better than that of, I hate to say it, the iPhone.

Ohhh ! Nice... article. You see... theres alot of angry ppl craving to get off the MS72xx hardware. Dont be shy! Iphone surpasses everything out there, just like anything else... what ever is on top the compatition has to aim higher. If we all keep denying ourself in how superior the our Pro and Pro2 are because its not an IPHONe then we wont get nowhere.

I spent alot of time with the 2 phones and I left feeling like I just played with my Pro 1 just with a bigger screen. Seriously. Ans what was funny and immidietly new thewre was no driver was when I hit the windows to bring up the programs page on WM not TF3dYou know when you scroll down and you get that page tear? ahahah! Its was there. I almost stopped too but i figure might as well check the whole hardware from pics to vids to scroll to 3d rendering and 2d rendering. Like i said.. I felt like I was playing with my Pro but with a bigger screen.

I went to Tmo store to see hows the TP2. The "wow" factor jump out the window on me. I compare the screen size to my Vogue, It's the same width. TP2 is just longer. I was expecting a gigantuous screen that will wow me. I was wrong. So if U measure it inch by inch, Iphone screen has more real estate than the TP2. Well it's because WVGA vs HVGA. Just like widescreen vs fullscreen.

OMFG! Thats what I thought too. And I did not even mention that in the original analysis. Id figure Id go easy since everyone here in the Pro 2 sections takes personal offence if you dare say anythign bad about it. BUt when i finaly got my dirty hands on it and saw it up close... I said "Huh?" Then i whipped out my Pro 1 and said... "I thought it was alot bigger". Ask Horndoctor about if size matter. lol. But dont ask him what he does to the trumpet at night.

I was not impressed with the bigger screen. I thought it was like "BAM!" HUGE HDPDI 29 incher one eye python and all. But nope.... kinda inny winnie. lol

Seriously though. In an alternate universe there is an iphone PPCG-style forum out there where a htc fanboy has started a thread stating that "other than the rendering on an iphone, what else does an iphone offer compared to a TP2?".

Personally, I could care less. I did not buy the phone for its' graphic performance, or lack there of. It does what I need it to...or perhaps what I've come to expect it can do....hmmm?

Some people just love to hate Apple, others HTC / M$ / whomever else. You obviously feel very strongly about the issue at hand...hence the quest to get your message out there, and out there, and out there. Keep up the good work
