I've just got around to testing TomTom 7 (7.916.9189) with a Verizon TP2 and initial performance was very disheartening. However, changing the baud rate in the GPS Configuration to 'Other NMEA', Com 4, and setting the baud to 115200 seemed to improve things a great deal. There still appears to be 2-3 lag between my actual position and what's displayed, but it is much better.

Hopefully I'll suppress my cold long enough to Igo installed and look through some other options for TomTom to see if I can get the performance improved. I'd reallllllly rather use TomTom.
