Incorrect thumbnail pictures and doubles in library

Maybe it's all the shuffling of pictures and cutting, copying, deleting of pics from my phone but strangely the majority of thumbnail pics on my phone are incorrect. When I go to the pictures tab and then click "library" it will show all the pics. Some are even doubles (even though there isn't any) and when I click on a picture that I want based on the thumbnail a entirely different picture opens!

I'm thinking maybe the "album" file is corrupted? Anyone know how to resolve this? Do I need to copy all the pics to my computer and then delete them off the phone and copy them back on?
