how are you getting your phone replaced through Verizon?

nothing special about that...vzw covers your device for 1yr warranty so in the event that they cant fix your device over the phone, through a hard reset, or whatever simple minded methods they employ and it is a physical problem theyll ship you out a refurbished. However, if no refurbs are available, then they have no choice but to ship you out a new device which is what happened a couple times to me now.

This in no way affects or is related to assurion. Vzw customer service does this and are very helpful in other matters such as upgrading.

That was part of the reason for my replacement that came last week. However, I could only see the white spot on white screens, not on the today screen or anywhere with a darker background. I thought that was weird.

Well I have a 100 new every 2 with VZW and I think it looks MUCH better than the Sprint. My only concern is what will VZW do to the internals, and that I pay VZW 160 a month when I could pay Sprint 100 for everything. What to do......

I'd go to Sprint in a heartbeat if they had reliable text messaging, even though I do agree the Verizon version looks way better. It will be worth the wait, providing it's not more than 30 days haha
