You may need to temporarily turn off the antivirus program on the pc. |

Re: ActiveSync Disconnecting During Unlock?
horndoctor: I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the ActiveSync software more times than I can remember. It didn't solve the problem.
eric12341: That's exactly what I've been doing. demonlordoftheround: I've also done that, too. I've disabled anti-virus programs AND firewalls, but the same thing's been happening. |

Re: ActiveSync Disconnecting During Unlock?
possibly a hardware issue ? I have had this exact problem on multiple devices . I noticed it wasn't the actual lock screen . but me holding my phone and moving it around while its plugged in . the terminals in the device would quit making connection . try doing it while the phone is laying down on a desk and unlock it without picking it up .

Re: ActiveSync Disconnecting During Unlock?
elesbb--yes, every time I tried flashing, I had my phone laying face-up on a desk and I did not touch it. What does your attached .cab do?
horndoctor--no, I actually didn't hard-reset everything before trying to unlock it. How would I do that? Also, using PimBackup to back up all of my settings would restore my information (contacts, notes, etc.) if flashing still does not work, right? |
