Question Need advice - ROM choices for Touch Pro 2

Hi All,

Have a Touch Pro 2, I think I need to flash my ROM as having some small issues right now (won't go into power save, just dims the screen. Keep getting data call disconnect messages even though I can browse web just fine)

I would just install the standard MR3 ROM except for one problem - I HATE the Sense interface - I use the 6.1 interface for everything (on 6.5). From what I understand MR 2 and 3 remove the old fashioned 6.1 today screen.

My needs are pretty simple:
-The 6.1 style today screen
-Microsoft reader
-Opera browser
-POP email
-Active sync/direct push email (for work)
-Goggle Maps with GPS (been using Quick GPS)
-WiFi sharing (a big reason I'm not upgrading to Win7 or Driod)
-media player for the occasional podcast (downloaded with Opera)
-BattClock (great little battery bar add on)
-Awesome Start to get rid of the ridiculous honeycomb menu
-as a phone.

That's about it - I do use the built in zoom bar which works with the version of Opera in the ROM.

Is there a better ROM for me than MR1?

A final question - Can I unlock the phone and install just the radio update from MR3 without mucking up anything? Trying to get the 'fixs' of the ;atter MR's without the stupid restriction on the interface.

Thanks in advance!
