749mhz... Never got an SOD at higher speeds, just basic lockups.

806. Works reliably and flies!

Still wouldn't mind a dual-core 1.2Ghz CPU with a multitasking OS in a PPC....

Re: What speed is your TP clocked at.

I've had three refurbs since my original.
They are all old manufactured date.
none of them, with exception of my latest,
goes up to 768Mhz.
I'm happy with anything over 730Mhz.
I cannot stand stock speed its too slow for me.
Especially when you see how quik and fluid the newer android phones are..
Anyway for a refurb I feel lucky to have 768Mhz and looking better than the other refurbs.
I went to another location for my last one but I dunno if that mattered.

Re: What speed is your TP clocked at.

768mhz. Anything more and it craps out eventually. Not too shabby really.

I'm at 768.00mhz all the time now. It overclocks at bootup. Works great!
Be careful with that, I've done that for about 6 months and one day my screen decided to not come on, and it looped on load up. Had to hard reset, and haven't been the same since. =\ Still over clock but I sometimes forget to do the clocking. lol

My workaround for that was to create a shortcut in the startup directory that linked to a mortscript file on my sdcard (which eventually executed the OC command). The idea being that I could just pull the card out if I got stuck in a bootloop or freeze loop.

It's worth doing if you're concerned about a repeat.

Have a little more of an instruction to it? Haven't messed with mort before. I'm pretty interested in this.
