Re: What is Assurion replacing now
Should work that way when I'm paying over $150 a month and have been with Sprint since the late 90's. I had over 20 Touch Pro's until they gave me a Touch Pro 2, and now I've had at least 6 Touch Pro 2's in the last couple months. Issues I've had with TP1 and TP2: - Rainbow screen - Broken Power button - Half-lit screen - Non-responsive keyboard - Overheating (the back cover of my phone slightly melted) - Non-responsive touch screens - Broken speakers - Crackling sounding speakers Every time they offer me a replacement phone is always a refurb (they never work right) or some phone that is in no way comparable to what I own. The EVO in my opinion is the most comparable phone as far as specs and features go. Sprint has really been pissing me off lately with these horrible refurbished phones, and the fact that they could careless if my phone is breaking every other week, so I'm seriously debating cancelling all my lines of service and air card. So why shouldn't it work that way? ![]() |

Re: What is Assurion replacing now with Verizon
Verizon customers only, No Sprint, What is Asuron offering you ?
My TP2 display is cracked, still works but, the crack is at the top of my screen, They will offer me only 3 phones, no offence to owners but, I can't take any of them because they are a downgrade to a TP2. I called them today (4/30) and this is what they offered me, again. I want a WM device only, Android is not a option for me (they offered me a older one and I said no way) 1. LG Fathom (much smaller display (3.2") and smaller keys on keyboard, tons of poor reviews). 2. HTC Imagio (Tons of button related problems in reviews and NO KEYBOARD) 3. Touch Pro (Really ? A TP1 ? Enough said, Not willing to go backwards never mind a VGA display, not WVGA) I'm not willing to go to a older phone or something with a smaller display. If there is no keyboard, I need something with a larger than 3.6" display because I have larger thumbs and it's really hard to type even on my TP2's screen. I think I am just going to hold out for a WP7 device because I don't really have an option that fits my needs. Is there other options that I should look at, Android is not a option because they only offer mid line models and with Android, if you don't have the current high end model, your left behind on the new version of Android that seems to come out every few months. Thoughts ?

Re: What is Assurion replacing now with Verizon
I am not getting my insurance thru phone company anymore.
I am going to use square trade. Just tell them what you insurance you need and they will tell you the price.
