I'm not sure, though, if it doesn't work because it doesn't work or because my device doesn't work. :-/ |

Re: been away for a while, ROM advice?
I see. So, after starting the internet sharing program and clicking the Connect button on your device, what happens? Is the 'Connect' button greyed out, or does it function?

Re: been away for a while, ROM advice?
I may have a problem here. I am attempting to flash, and I am stuck in the boot loader screen. I have the RHODIMG.nbh on the root of the flash drive, and I hard spl'd before flashing. Any thoughts?

Thanks horndoctor. Can you check out the thread I created for this problem? I wasn't sure if anyone would see my posts in this thread, so I created a new one for my problem. Thanks again.

Re: been away for a while, ROM advice?
Thought I should update you all: so after trying this for a little bit, I decided can't live with the little bugs that I can't solve. I know I've solved them before (battery draining ridiculously fast, no audio from the headphones, the 2017 thing that I sort of made go away but then it came back, etc) but going back through that again is just too much, and I didn't get the things I was hoping to gain (ie. tethering). I'm going back to 6.5...got a suggestion for Lead ROM so I'll try that first, but it's getting kinda frustrating.

Re: been away for a while, ROM advice?
I've had a lot of luck with Vin's ROM, Lead ROM's are nice too, Mr.X's were a personal fav but there's no real support there as far as updates, but the last build was solid as any out there and there are still users to assist if needed. Take a look through the upgrades forum and see which ROM's are still getting support, look through the comments to see what kind of issues users are having and give them a shot. If you use sashimi setting the phone back up should be fairly painless so flash as you want until you find one that suits your needs. good luck!
