As eric said you just have to provision for USCellular. Good Luck!

Also, look here for USCellular provision cab if it's not in Vin's thread:

It sounds like you are describing the standard WinMo 6.1 Today Screen now so if that's all you want just go with Scrosler's Sprint Basics Rom or the Sprint Shipped 6.1 Rom and install the GoodThings2Life 6.1 Tweaks cab and you will be good.
Thanks guys, this sounds familiar, but still one question, by going backwards from 6.5 to 6.1 am i going to lose anything, ie. performance or battery life? Also I kind of recall problems with gt2l's tweaks, but maybe that was 6.5 and not 6.1?

still a little confused because i dont want to go backwards and lose something important...?

as far as performance from 6.5 to 6.1 u actually gain performance as 6.1 was better suited for the aged processor in the tp2 6.5 can work well with tweaks as well as a higher build # in the 21916 area. that's the 6.5 build that's the closest to matching the stability found in 6.1 as for battery life I don't really notice a difference. if u don't want HTC sense u can either use a rom with just titanium or just a 6.1 rom. there's only a little performance increase between a 6.1 rom and a 6.5 rom with just titanium cept for a bit more ram in 6.1 and 6.5 has more eye candy .

Re: been away for a while, ROM advice?

Thanks horndoctor and eric12341. I downloaded Vin's Titanium, but it is in RAR format. I think that means I have to install it to my SD card, then flash. I'm not as familiar with flashing from the SD card as opposed to WMDC and EXE files. I have already hard-spl'd my phone with the file from the following link:

Olipro->Creations(&Unlockers); - RhodiumW Hard-SPL

I am not sure how to proceed from this point. Also, I believe I found a suitable provision CAB in this link:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...energyrom.html

apristel_Arcsoft is the one I would use. Any thoughts/threads as to flashing with the RAR file, and if I have chosen the correct provision CAB? Many thanks again.

I concurr with eric's explanation. I would add the main thing 6.5 adds over 6.1 is more fingerfriendly elements in the standard menus and throughout the main parts of the OS. I really don't think it adds speed or stability.
The gt2l cab for 6.1 works great but some have problems with the one for 6.5.

A rar file is just another type of compression file like a zip archive. You just use WinRar or some other utility to extract the nbh or exe file. Just read Vin's instructions in his thread.
I gave you a link to a provision cab and here is the pocket pc version of Pocket RAR:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...ketrar3.93.cab

There is a new flashing utility that you might use here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/cdma-tp2-d...umw-barin.html

That may make things easier.

Re: been away for a while, ROM advice?

Two weeks later and I finally am getting around to this! Got tired of my phone crashing I have old instructions that pretty much say "bootloader and nbh in root of card, cabs in XDA_UC folder and bootloader--Go!" I hope this is still the procedure (and I'm assuming since I unlocked previously I don't have to do it again). I'm backed up and ready to do it now! lol

Anyway, I've been searching and searching for the cab needed to tether but can't seem to find or figure out which is the right one. Each time I get to a link that seems to say "This is it!" the file isn't found. Then there are others that seem to be something similar, but the description in the thread isn't right. Over the past two weeks I've spent numerous frustrating hours on the search.

Would any of you kind souls point me to a valid cab that will let me tether?

Thanks
