Re: My TP2 suddenly stays Muted. Can't UnMute. Help!!

I'm running a stock sprint ROM. It's the updated 6.5 ROM that came out last year. It ran fine up until late yesterday. I took a call yesterday and the wife couldn't hear me. I thought it was just the area I was in but come to find out, no one could hear me on any of the other calls. I've been doing some searching and it looks as if there is a problem with the microphone going out with these phones. It's not an often problem but often enough, there's quite a few posts here and other places about this. Usually, it seems to be after a hacked ROM is installed but occasionally you find a post from people like me who just happen to try and use it only to find out no one can hear them.

I'm going to take it to my local store on Thursday and if they can switch it out or do that $35 repair, I'm probably going to be switching over to a Samsung Epic. I'd prefer to keep my phone but since I didn't take out the insurance and if I have to basically buy another phone outright, I'll just do the switch.

If anyone has any other info on this problem, please direct me to it. I'd like to lean as much as I could before I loose this phone.

Thanks
