Re: mobile banking app
I think I tried that at one point and couldn't find my local bank in their list, I don't bank through a big national bank. That isn't something I can get around through them right?

Re: mobile banking app
I use the app by Firethorn Holdings that works with several banks. You can get from your bank's online site (if they participate) or from your carrier (if they support).

Re: mobile banking app
Firethorn doesn't work with Sprint, and I don't think my banks do the texting thing. I don't see why they can't just make an app that works with any bank that has an online presence.

In all seriousness, another option might be to make up a contact list entry with your banks' automated system contact number, and to set up the contact number with the appropriate pauses and your account number and PIN, so that you can just call it and get your balance without having to key in all your info over and over. Also, there is always the options of running a financial management app on your phone (or even just keeping a Word document) with your transactions and current balance, though those options are only accurate if you put some effort into maintaining them. Good luck! |
