if your bank allows online transactions, you should be able to log in that way... I have chase and logged in thru Opera, then saved as a short cut link. Added the icon to 2nd screen and whenever I want to login its just one click and I'm online.. and its still secure...

Re: mobile banking app

thanks for the suggestions, I tried saving a link after logging in and even just on the log in page after entering my account# but before entering the password and neither would work because of security issues with the bank. I don't know if it's cuz I was using opera 10 and there wasn't a way to save the link as a shortcut or what, but with the opera browser that came with 6.5 I couldn't even get logged in to my banks site. I guess I will probably have to just go through the browser the 'slow' way. I am just dissapointed that there isn't an app that works with any banks that have an online presence where I can at a glance get my balances and card infos etc etc.

Re: mobile banking app

First, blaming the OP for signing up with a bank that doesn't have a mobile app that works of his smartphone OS of choice is poor form.

Second, this is not the only thread I've seen you expose a foul attitude in. Check your attitude at the door, it's not welcome in these forums.

Third, if you have nothing constructive to add to the thread beyond blaming the OP, go away.

Re: mobile banking app

Yeah wow, just looking for helpful advice. I've been with my bank forever, long before there was such a thing as mobile internet banking and not about to change banks over it. They're not an unknown bank, in fact I've found the bigger the bank the crappier it is. Like I said, just looking for something that works for me which I haven't been able to do yet, doesn't mean I'm criticizing wm or anything else for that matter. Why don't you take a pill Eric.

I agree with SweetBearCub. You post plenty of things that just are not true or not really done in a constructive tone. And rep is meaningless for the most part.

I have noticed this as well. Your negative attitude is shown all over these forums. If you have nothing constructive to say, zip it!
