all you have to do is go in the comm manager and switch the data toggle to off. no need to go into each and every individual program. that's just too cumbersome if you really want data off. that's what i did when i took my phone to the Philippines a few months ago. turned off the data and i was all set. when i came back...i just switched it back on.

I use Sprint TP2 while in Malaysia and Singapore this past Dec and it perform great! Go search of this TP2 forum many months back. There is a thread similar to this with my experience info.
